Affiliate Marketing is; When you make money by driving potential customers to a product, through a link, on which you will earn a percentage of the commission.

There are FOUR steps to figure out an Affiliate Marketing Campaign.

1. Identifying which Niche and AFFILIATE PROGRAM you’ll market.

2. GET STARTED Identifying which strategy you’ll be utilizing (PAID VS FREE)

3. Build a SALES FUNNEL to drive traffic in your Affiliate Link.

4. Scale your strategy by re-investing earnings into PAID advertisement campaigns.

Most companies have an affiliate link and the best Affiliate programs to promote are ones you already use or are passionate about.

This is all powered by Cookies. Web browsing Cookies keep track of when someone uses your Affiliate Link. There is a set time when you are eligible to get paid commission for your marketing efforts. The set time varies depending on the Affiliate Program you join, some are 24 hours and others are months after. This means that you could potentially make money after a month of someone clicking on your link.

Commissions vary and could be in the range of (1–95%) depending on the Affiliate Program you choose to drive your online audience to.

You need multiple Affiliate Programs to really scale this business model.

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

It’s important to identify a profitable Niche before looking into programs. Identifying a niche can be;

· Promoting programs you are already using.

· Promoting programs that are about to drop and have huge hype on them with websites such as MUNCHEYE.com

· Promoting low competition high commission programs and identifying these by doing a google search.

There are many affiliate programs out there. Most big brands have them today. Below I listed a few popular programs and a quick highlight as to what characterizes them.

  • Amazon Associates

The right of passage for affiliate marketers. Amazon affiliate commission ranges from 1–10%.

This is the best and easiest way to get your feet wet with Affiliate Marketing as it is free to sign up.

Once someone clicks on your affiliate link, they will have 24 hours to purchase anything from Amazon, and whatever they purchase you will still get a commission on it even if it isn’t what you were initially marketing. Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the world and by promoting Amazon links you’re able to promote any industry or niche.

· Capterra.com

Helps identify membership-based Affiliate Programs. Membership programs help build up a passive income stream where you get paid out monthly.

Memberships with free trials are the easiest to market, giving people the opportunity to test a product out first facilitates sales. t

· Impact.com

Is a place where you find a variety of different products and industries. There are a lot of different programs that will offer a better commission than Amazon will. Some brands even give your marketing link a 30 days life. This means if someone clicks on your link they have 30 days to buy something from it and you will still make a commission on it.

This is good because if you already have an online audience you can find products that align with your niche.

Impact also lets you see the average 30-day earning per click.

They allow you to see what the average Earning Per Click is with different companies and industries. With this, you have to consider your audience or who you’re planning on targeting. If your audience is bodybuilders and you sell them beauty products then it probably won’t get the same amount of earnings per click as it says.

  • Cj.com

Formally Commission Junction. CJ is an Affiliate marketplace that connects with hundreds of thousands of brands worldwide. Very similar to impact.

Essentially this is the google of affiliate programs. some programs give you the link right away, some require you to sign up.

  • ClickBank

is both a marketplace for affiliates and an e-commerce platform for digital content creators. As a content owner, you can add your product to Clickbank’s database and they will manage the sale and checkout process, as well as make it visible to their network of affiliate marketers.

ClickBank is Another Affiliate marketplace that connects you with over 100,000 brands and creators and makes it easy to connect with brands. They give high commissions (35 -90%).

There are a lot of bad products within these affiliate marketplaces so it’s important to do your research and make sure you are promoting great products. My suggestion would be to keep a high level of integrity when doing this.

Other Affiliate Programs include:

  • Fiverr
  • DFO Global
  • Widitrade
  • eBay Partner Network
  • HubSpot
  • CheapFlights

HOW TO START?

Free Traffic Vs Paid Traffic

Free Traffic comes from different media outlets such as blogs, youtube channels, niche websites, Tiktok, Quora, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Paid traffic comes through running ads. If you google “best computers” you will see ads before you see the websites on google. This costs you money and you will have to do a lot of testing to see which ads work. Paid traffic is good to use after you are already pulling a profit from free traffic. Paid traffic helps scale-free traffic.

Building a website and ranking on google is a brilliant strategy for Affiliate Marketing. This is however a long-term game.

Focus on membership-based programs to start because they build cash flow and passive income.

Finding a great membership-based program, building a Sales Funnel, and promoting that funnel with Free Traffic sources then scaling with Paid Traffic sources is a strategy a lot of Affiliate Marketers recommend.

It’s important to remain ethical while marketing Affiliate programs. A good rule of thumb is to market programs you already use or believe in.

Cash flow is free. Monthly programs that offer a free trial help because you don’t have to do much selling with a free trial.

www.Capterra.com helps you find products or software that offer recurring Affiliate Programs.

You could also go to google and search for recurring affiliate products 2022.

Looking at what’s being advertised to you daily is another way to find programs to market.

For example; Jasper.ai writes blog posts for you and it’s a great tool that has a monthly fee with a free subscription. 30% recurring commission for life.

Getting started — Free Traffic

  1. Start a blog — it’s not too late. You can create a niche blog that links your affiliate links and helps it be embedded into a blog post. This is the most passive way to build income for free for your Affiliate Links. Once you build up an audience for your blog you will be able to add your links and drive traffic passively.
  • Go to siteground.com/ squarespace.com/ Shopify to build a website.

2. YouTube — You can automate the whole thing with Youtube Automation. If you don’t automate your Youtube channel, Creating a Youtube channel helps you get better at speaking and build other marketable skills. Once you build a large enough audience on Youtube, you can promote your links on your channel and monetize it even further.

  1. Facebook Groups — build your own Facebook group in a niche you’re passionate about. Add people as friends in similar groups then invite them to join your group. This can be a passive way to earn income by building up a community and pinning Affiliate Links on the top of the page.

You can also just join groups in the niche you’re marketing and participate in the group by commenting on which problem you’re going to solve for free and asking them to DM you where you will send them an affiliate link. This is less passive income but works when you’re first starting out.

  1. Email lists — more of a secondary to any other traffic source, it’s easy to create an email list once you already have an established audience and traffic source. Use a website like MailChimp to manage your email list.
  2. Discord/ Quora/ Reddit/ Pinterest — Also known as the “salesman warriors” strategy. These are the people who go around different blog posts answering questions and sending their affiliate links to help solve a problem. This is more time-consuming than most.

Scaling — Paid traffic strategies.

The idea is to find High conversion with very low competition.

Use Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Tiktok Ads, and Youtube Ads.

Go on google and google something like “Youtube video ideas” if no one is running ads on this search then it makes it a low competition.

Google keyword panel helps you quantify the metrics of the keywords you’re searching by showing you monthly searches and competition on the keywords.

You can create a landing page or a sales funnel for your ads from Kartra.com which provides value and leads to your free trial to your membership.

After you create a Kartra landing page create a Google Ads campaign.

It is important to create a sales funnel and when we’re sending

Sales funnel

A sales funnel is where you can capture an e-mail and also send them an offer through your link.

What is a SALES FUNNEL?

A website that takes the customers through a few easy steps.

A sales funnel

  1. The opt-in page requires you to enter your email address.
  2. a value-based video providing some sort of value.
  3. call to Action and sign up to your affiliate link.

This helps with continuous campaigns where you promote a different recurring software or product.

How to build a sales funnel?

app.Kartra.com — They have templates to build sales funnels and sales campaigns.

To Conclude…

Always start with the free traffic route unless you have great experience with running ad campaigns.

Do you need a website? Yes — to apply to some affiliate programs you will need a link to a website. At least some kind of URL or some kind of page you can show them. A website is a long-term way to make passive income with Affiliate marketing and build an audience. However, you DO NOT NEED A WEBSITE to get started.

What are you waiting for? You have everything to gain by trying this business model and nothing to lose.
